順水推船

顺著水流的方向推船。比喻顺应情势行事。元．康进之《李逵负荆．第三折》：「你休得顺水推船，偏不许我过河拆桥。」《文明小史．第一三回》：「与其将来走入邪路，一发而不可收，何如我此时顺水推船，借了洋人势力，笼络他们，预弭将来之患，岂不是好？」也作「顺水推舟」、「顺水行舟」。
